October Currently

As hard as it is to believe, the end of first 9-weeks of school is only a week from being here! October is here and so it the newest edition of the Currently linky!

Listening: Can I just say I love having a DVR! Big Bang Theory is a hoot!

Loving: I'm not the biggest fan of morning carpool duty, but with temps in the mid 50's and low humidity coming, I might show up extra early tomorrow!

Thinking: We have enrichment meetings tomorrow (our elem. teachers each have a group in the rotation), I have a kiddo leaving for another school, and one out with a case of poison ivy all over. Then there's my group of kiddos that don't think reviewing/studying at home constitutes homework. UGH!

Wanting: So I'm enjoying my classes this year, but I'm sooo tired. Our next break isn't until Thanksgiving!!!

Needing: So I found these Captain Wafer peanut butter and honey crackers at my Dollar Tree. I am in LOVE! After school tomorrow, my stash needs replenishing!

Boo-tiful: So if you teacher folks out there haven't discovered blab.im, you need to check it out. I'm in a group of teachers with Misty from Krazy About Teaching, Richelle from Juice Boxes and Crayons, and Farrah from Mrs. Shipley's Classroom. Together we have a show on Blab called the Teacher Blab Show. We're on Thursday's at 8pm central for Tip Talk Thursday and Saturday mornings at 10am central with special guests. These wonderful ladies and all of our #frienducators uplift each other, give tips and advice, and just help make life fun! Hanging with friends like these is boo-tiful!

  1. I've been meaning to check out Teacher Blab Show, but I seem to always be somewhere else at that time! Can I access "old" shows?

    1. You actually can! Just visit the Teacher Blab Show link I have and then pick replays.10 of our past shows are there. We had one tonight all about tips - I have some about class library tips and we talked about skoolbo.com.

  2. Big Bang Theory is one of my favorite shows, too. I taught gifted and talented students for a while, so I am always reminded of former students when I watch.
